Garmin XT 6.00.20 Mobile Symbian S60 2012 Nokia without maps

Works like a charm on my Nokia 5800. It doesn't freeze like the 5.00.XX versions,

is much smoother and acquires gps faster (30-40 seconds compared to 1-2 minutes in 

the old versions)

Please seed for a while due to my slow connection!


The install is the same like the other versions, so if you have questions please 

Google them before asking them here. I will answer them but I want to be your last 

source of inspiration.

Here are some short instructions:


1. Copy Garmin folder to the memory card root. (E:/)

2. Install GarminMobileXT_6.00.20_P.Petrov_Signed or the Unsigned version (patched 

mobiles)

3. Reboot phone

4. Run GarminXT from your phone at Menu > Application > Garmin. Please follow the 

sequence and select your preferable.

5. When prompted to ΓÇ£buyΓÇ¥ or ΓÇ£TrialΓÇ¥, select the far bottom options ΓÇ£Connect to a 

Garmin GPSΓÇ¥ or in some cases select ΓÇ£Use other deviceΓÇ¥ then you will get ΓÇ£Where 

To?ΓÇ¥ and ΓÇ£View mapΓÇ¥ screen.

6. In GarminXT, go to Tools > Settings > About. Write down the  ΓÇ£Card IDΓÇ¥, and  Exit GarminXT

7. From your PC, (donΓÇÖt connect the USB to your phone),  run ΓÇ£Garmin Unlock 

Generator v1.5.exeΓÇ¥ and enter the ΓÇ£Card IDΓÇ¥ from previous steps. Click Generate and 

copy the codes to Notepad, save it as sw.unl (make sure it is sw.unl and not 

sw.unl.txt)

8. Connect back your phone to PC and select ΓÇ£Mass storage modeΓÇ¥ or any other option 

where you can browse your phone. In my laptop I use "ovi suite" and then I can 

browse it... depends from machine to machine.

9.Copy ΓÇ£sw.unlΓÇ¥ to Garmin folder. Usually located at E:/Garmin.

10. Download maps and copy them into Garmin folder (E:/Garmin).
